Early Childhood Development centres in South Africa play a critical role in preparing young children for formal education. These centres, often referred to as creches or preschools, provide a structured environment where children can develop essential cognitive, emotional, and social skills. The Bishopstowe ECD currently provides this environment to children in Grades RR and RRR. Please contact our friendly staff to learn more.
We do our very best to keep our facilities at a high and neat standard. At times we are also blessed to have special visits from some schools in Pietermaritzburg. We also have fun excursions for the pupils.
The Bishopstowe ECD Centre strives to provide the very best pre-school education to our neighboring areas. We have transport available to some of the areas located close to us to ensure the children get to school safely and timely. As of May 2025 we are incredibly thankful to have finished building a new classroom which will help us to provide quality education to more learners. A huge thank you to TWK and Sunshine Seedlings for sponsoring the new classroom as well as NCT for the furniture! We will soon be launching this new classroom!
